With recent advances in programmable FPGA technology, we designed a new software-hardware integrated high-performance traffic capture solution as an alternative to standard-NIC DPDK+Hyperscan approaches. It captures packets at wire speed with lower memory I/O and CPU usage while offloading targeted workloads. This architecture enables high-density processing on standard servers, especially domestic-ready hardware platforms.
